Mel makes an amazing point that is simple to understand but very difficult to execute because we are all trapped in our minds. Behaviors and feelings are difficult to overcome but this 5-Second rule tool is very powerful to defeat those feelings. It's true you'll never "feel" like going to the gym, studying, training, quite smoking, or eating healthy. But you know that you will be happy by the results and wouldn't have any regrets in doing so.
I listened via Audible the past 2-days and was able to implement the tool immediately and can tell you it definitely works. The rule is very simple but she explains all the scientific details behind it. Amazing book I do recommend.
